Course Description

This course meets for three Fridays, April 17, 24 and May 1, 2015.

Recent research into leadership behaviors of successful project and program managers provide a unique view of what drives success. So if you are: looking to refine your leadership skills, curious if your current behaviors will help you achieve success, seeking leadership tools to advance your skills

This course starts with individual personal assessments using PRADCO's Emotional Intelligence and Leadership assessments. You will be comparing your individual (confidential) results to recent global research conducted by Baldwin Wallace University, PRADCO and PMI's Leadership Community of Practice. The remainder of the course focuses on best practices to build your leadership skills in: emotional self-awareness, cultural awareness and assessment, strategic agility and leading change. This interactive learning experience includes guest speakers from industry that will provide additional insights on how to get a quick read of an organization's culture and build influence for driving change. Throughout the course, participants will build a personal leadership roadmap for advancement.

This course brings both the art and science together using self-assessment data from PRADCO's Emotional Intelligence/Leadership Indexes with practical tools and experiences from successful project leaders. 
The curriculum focuses on four of the most common success factors for project leaders: emotional self-awareness, cultural adaption and assessment, strategic agility, and change leadership.
